The Alfred Deakin Postdoctoral Research Fellowships (ADPRF) are intended to build research and innovation capability and excellence and create impact, in strategic priority research strengths at Deakin University. The Fellowships support and develop early career researchers, aiming to enhance our capacity and capability in key research areas and build the next generation of high achieving and internationally competitive researchers.
The fellowships are highly competitive and are designed to recruit or retain early career researchers who demonstrate nationally or internationally outstanding track records relative to opportunity in areas of strategic importance to Deakin.
The ADPRF scheme is now open for applications, with 20 Fellowships available across all disciplines. Please consider applying if you are eligible and encourage others amongst your research networks to apply. Applications close: 11:59pm, Monday 2nd November 2020. More information is available here: https://www.deakin.edu.au/…/ADPRF-Guidelines_final.pdf or via email: adprfellowships@deakin.edu.au.
Marine Sciences and sustainability are areas of strategic importance to Deakin so I’m putting the callout to any ECRs with stellar track records relative to opportunity that might be interested in applying for an ADPRF to work within my DeakinSeaweed team in the areas of seaweed aquaculture and/or seaweed ecology.
If you’re interested and think you might be competitive, please send me a copy of your CV including, impact factors & Scimago journal rankings for each of your publications, and a brief statement of your research interests by email to alecia.bellgrove@deakin.edu.au. If you have had career interruptions etc please also detail these and the impact on your research productivity.
Please note that international candidates outside Australia may be impacted by our border closures due to Covid19, which could delay commencement of the Fellowship if successful.
